At Hevron Heights Winery, craftsmanship does not end in the cellar.
Great wine begins in the vineyard and is shaped during fermentation and aging, but the journey of each bottle continues long after the wine is finished. Every detail — from the bottle and label to the packaging and presentation — is approached with the same care and dedication that define our winemaking.
Much of this work is done by hand.
Visitors to the winery often notice that alongside the tanks and barrels, many people carefully handle bottles one by one. Bottles are wrapped, labeled, sealed, and packed by hand, ensuring that each wine receives the attention it deserves before it leaves the cellar. This human touch is part of Hevron Heights’ identity.
Bottles Crafted With Care
Many of our finest wines are finished with traditional wax seals. Bottles may be dipped in deep red or black wax, creating a protective layer and giving the wine a distinctive, elegant appearance.
For some special releases, each bottle is stamped by hand with traditional seals, leaving a unique mark on the wax. This careful work transforms every bottle into a small work of craftsmanship rather than a simple container.
For larger formats — including magnum and collector-sized bottles — the process becomes even more meticulous. Labels are applied by hand, and bottles are prepared individually, often requiring several people to complete the work.
Presentation Worthy of the Wine
The presentation of a wine should reflect the quality of what is inside.
Many of our premium wines are presented in carefully crafted wooden boxes designed to protect the bottles and highlight their character. These boxes are produced with the same philosophy that guides our winery — combining elegance, tradition, and durability.
From time to time, we also create special gift sets that include accessories such as wine glasses or openers, allowing collectors and wine lovers to experience the wines more fully.
Wines of Story and Place
The identity of Hevron Heights wines is deeply connected to the history and culture of the Judean Hills.
Many of our labels draw inspiration from biblical heritage and the ancient landscape surrounding our vineyards. Names such as Makhpelah, Isaac’s Ram, and Armagedon (the Latin translation of Har Megiddo, the mountain of Megiddo) reflect stories and places that have shaped this region for thousands of years.
Through these names and designs, each bottle tells a story that links today’s wines to the deep historical roots of the Biblical Land of Israël.
Wines for Collectors
Some of our wines are produced in exceptional formats for collectors and special occasions.
Beyond the standard bottle, certain wines are available in large formats, including magnums and even larger bottles up to 18 liters. These rare bottles are prepared and packaged with particular care, making them sought-after pieces for celebrations, cellars, and collectors around the world.
